Today we are going to tell you about a delicious and healthy snack. Crispy potato sticks are a snack that everyone, big or small, loves to eat and takes little time to prepare. This snack is perfect when you share the love with your family. The step-by-step method of making this snack is also given below for your convenience. Ingredients for Crispy Potato Sticks with Cheese

For the crispy potato sticks:


  • 600 grams of potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • Water
  • Butter
  • Parsley
  • Any hard cheese or mozzarella
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

For the coating:


  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Cheese
  • Paprika
  • 4 tablespoons of flour

Optional sides and sauce:


  • Cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber
  • Lemon juice
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • 3 tablespoons of sour cream or yogurt
  • Dill
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon juice

How to make crispy potato sticks


  • Break two eggs into a bowl, add a little salt and beat well.
  • Take peeled potatoes (600g) and cut them into large pieces.
  • Take a carrot and cut it into round pieces and add it to the potatoes.
  • Then add water to the bowl and cook well.
  • Take a piece of cheese and cut it into small pieces. (Any hard cheese or mozzarella)
  • Then put the previously boiled potatoes and carrots in a bowl. (without cheese)
  • Add the butter to it.
  • Then mash it until well mixed.
  • Take the parsley and add it to the mixture, finely chopped.
  • Add a little salt, and black pepper and mix well.
  • Then take 4 tablespoons of flour, breadcrumbs.
  • Add finely grated cheese (30 grams of cheese) to the breadcrumbs.
  • Add peppers to it and mix well.
  • Take the previously prepared mixture (potato, carrot mixture) and place the previously cut cheese in the middle and make a stick.
  • Then spread it on the flour, fry in oil, add breadcrumbs, and cheese and spread it on the prepared mixture.
  • Prepare everything in this order and keep it on a tray.
  • We have finished making the crispy potato sticks.

How to make the salad


  • Finely chop 1/4 Cabbage.
  • Then put it in a bowl, add a little salt and mix it with your hands.
  • Add a finely chopped carrot, 1 cucumber, vegetable oil and lemon juice and mix with a fork so that it does not crumble.
  • We have finished making the salad.

How to make the sauce


  • Add 3 tablespoons of sour cream or yogurt, finely chopped dill.
  • Add 1 finely chopped garlic clove, salt and lemon juice and mix well.
  • Now our sauce is ready.

  • Fry on medium heat to avoid burning
  • Do not overcrowd the pan
  • Use fresh breadcrumbs for better crispiness
