Let’s make a delicious dal

To make dal really tasty, you need a good aroma and taste. Even if you are a Sri Lankan, you can cook it.
I have heard a saying that “a hotel without dal is like a hotel without dal”, which means that this thing is useless without this thing. A hotel is useless without dal, and in some homes, you cannot eat a meal without dal. You can eat dal with any of these dishes. So here is how I will teach you how to cook this dal to your taste.
Ingredients:
- Mysore dal 01 cup
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 tablespoon chili powder
- 4 -5 red onions
- 01 medium sized finely chopped tomato
- 02 raw chili pods
- 02 cups coconut milk (cottage cheese) or as required
- 01 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- A pinch of curry leaves
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic
- Rampe (if desired)
- Pepper (if desired)
- Cinnamon (if desired)
- Ginger (if desired)
You can use sauces and artificial flavors as per your taste.
How to make:
First, grate the coconut and squeeze the coconut milk. Separate the cottage cheese and water. (Mitty milk is the first milk obtained when squeezing a coconut and watery milk is the second milk obtained when squeezing a coconut) If you are using water to boil the lentils, you do not need watery milk.
Then first wash the lentils well and add watery milk or water and cook on the stove. Do not wait until the lentils are well boiled, remove from the stove when they are slightly chewy when boiled to a normal consistency. Do not forget to stir occasionally.
So, while the lentils are cooking,
Wash and chop the onion, turmeric, curry leaves, garlic, green chilies, cinnamon, and cloves and keep them in a separate bowl
(Grind the ginger and garlic into a paste, or you can use a blender. If you want, you can do this and season the lentils. )
Then, put a pot on the stove and add coconut oil, butter, or any oil you use for cooking. Once it is hot, add the mustard.
Then add the chopped onion, turmeric, curry leaves, garlic, green chilies, cinnamon, and cloves to it, and if desired, add the ginger and garlic paste and fry for a while in the oil until fragrant.
Next, add chili powder, turmeric powder, (pepper powder).
(If you are adding sauces or flavors, artificial flavors, add them now too)
Keep it aside for a while and now add the boiled lentils to this and add the coconut milk.
Then add salt to the desired consistency and if the lentils are cooked enough, remove from the stove.
Then taste and serve.
Make it too and let us know the taste. So I am adding natural flavors to this, which I make at home, and I will definitely bring that recipe in another article.
